Vintage Silver Plate Butler Pan by Lipman-Levinster

A vintage butler pan or crumb tray made by Lipman-Levinster in Canada in the 1920s or 30s. It is silver plated and was made in their Viking Plate line. It has a decorative floral pattern on its lid, a wooden handle and was meant to be have a "flip lid" where the lid would open when the top nob was held down by a thumb. The hinge is no longer attached, however and I have not removed all of the tarnish. The base metal is brass. The pan without the handle is 8" wide, 6" across and about 1 3/4" tall without the top nob.
