Vintage Silver Tone Large Orchid Brooch

This is considered " A Rare Find " from the 1960's. This is from my Grandmother's Collection, I can't say whether she wore it or not as I never saw her wearing it and it shows no signs of wear. The symbolism associated with the Orchid is that of Love, Beauty, Refinement, Thoughtfullness and Mature Charm, it was also once believed that if a Woman ate the Tubers while pregnant it would influence the sex of the baby. This item is not stamped.
