Vintage Silver and Turquoise Beaded Necklace

This piece is a beaded necklace that features turquoise stones and silver components. The design, with its use of silver and turquoise, is a common style in Southwestern and Native American jewelry, particularly Navajo and Taxco Mexican jewelry. The large, unmarked silver pendant and the shape of the silver beads suggest it may be a handcrafted piece. The round silver beads and main pendant are non magnetic suggesting that they may be Sterling silver. The large main pendant is hollow and sealed as if to keep a special keepsake or secret.
