The band also in a burgundy faux leather with a simple silver metal buckle - this is a replacement as the original band was falling apart. The hat is VERY stiff with slightly curled up edges. Marked inside "Smithbilt Hats" and "3X Quality Water repellent". In great shape with a few small marks of age and use on the outside. Judging from the inner headband this hat has not been used much, if at all. As mentioned before, the hat is quite stiff, this also goes for the headband and I imagine this hat will need some ´breaking in´.
