Vintage Snits amethyst art glass bowl Lotta Pettersson for IKEA, Unsigned

...Scandinavian purple Art Glass fruit bowl A vintage hand blown glass dish in an amethyst purple hue, the oval shape so evocative of the 1950s. The bottom with a ground pontil mark, but no makers name. It looks like it could be by Per Lütken for Holmegaard Denmark (Selandia dish) ca 1950´s. The quality of the ground pontil and the innumerable tiny scratches on the foot leads to believe this is an older piece of glass. A very similar design was brought onto the market by IKEA in the early 2000s, designed by Lotta Pettersson. This design was called "Snits". As the piece is unsigned, it would be more likely a vintage IKEA piece. Condition: with some scratches and small scuffs.
