Vintage Spelter French Style Urn/Ewer with Porcelain Floral Medallion

This piece measures approx 11" tall by 4-1/2" wide, and feels heavy It appears to be cast in spelter (tin/zinc mix) which was popular in the early-mid 19th century It was painted in a gold/pewter coloured paint, and inset with a porcelain floral medallion Good condition with a few cracks evident in the spelter (see pics 8-10) - not uncommon in spelter pieces
