Vintage Staffordshire pottery Adams English scenic pink transferware 12" serving

...dish and open sugar / gravy bowl older marks A set of 2 red transferware pieces by Adams Staffordshire in their English Scenic pattern, resulting in a pleasing pink and cream colour combination. The platter with horses, cows and a donkey in a field besides a river, the border decorated with flowers and foliage. The open sugar bowl with a cow and calf at rest on the inside of the bowl, the outside decorated with livestock at rest on a pasture besides a farmhouse. The borders decorated with flowers and foliage. These pieces would be perfect for a harvest table setting during the upcoming holidays, or why not have them as a hallway tray and a little key dish? The larger dish would be a good size for a whole grilled chicken, or as a vegetable server (beans / carrots / corn on the cob) Both pieces have the same older Adams England Backstamp. Condition: Both pieces are in great condition for their age with only very minimal signs of age and use. The platter is free from utensil marks as is the bowl. There is crackling to the glaze however. I found no chips or breaks. The plate has a few red smudges and stains in its pattern (top right side) that would have been there since it was made.
