Vintage Sugar Caddy, Goose Sugar Bowl with Metal Handle, Duck with Baby

This little sugar caddy is shaped like an adorable duck / goose with a red bow around its neck, a baby as the handle for its lid, and a metal handle for the sugar dish itself. Both mother and baby have gilt eyes and bills and the sweetest expressions. It is brown glazed redware thought to have been made in Japan about the 1950s, although it is unmarked. The sugar bowl is about 3 1/2 inches tall and about 7 inches from bill to tail. It is in good condition. There is only a chip inside the inner rim as you can see in the last photo.
