Vintage Teal 1960s Florentine Handmade in Italy Urn/Lidded Jar with Gold Crest

Okay this is a fascinating item. This is a vintage (1960s) Florentine handmade in Italy ceramic urn/lidded jar adorned with gold accents and a gold crest reading PROVIDENTIAE MEMOR. This was the motto of the Kingdom of Saxony, part of Germany, and means "Remember God and his protecting watch over us," or "Remember to prepare for any possible future outcomes." The colour is an absolutely stunning saturated teal and the condition is excellent. Measurements: The jar (including lid) is 12" H with a 4.25" diameter. The lid is 4" H. The space inside measures 5" by 3.5". I've seen other pieces like this, but nothing this large and in such good condition. The bottom is marked "Handmade in Italy Florentine" This listing is for the jar only.
