Vintage Terra Cotta/clay pot

This vintage clay/ terracotta pot is from my Peruvian neighbors estate. Not mush is known about except that it is hand made. There are the initials BC on it, which they think are the makers mark. You will see some darkened areas on the outside that are believed to be from the kiln process (wood fired ovens). This is a large pot approximately 10 to 11 in. across.
