A terrific 1930s washboard that was manufactured by Western Broom & Woodenware Ltd in Vancouver British Columbia Canada - pine wood and glass and it's a quality item- measures 24 1/2 inches long and 12 inches wide - condition is very good; it has some scuffs, marks and scratches, but overall is structurally sound and in really fine fettle for the age - the vintage washboard is also commonly found as a vintage musical instrument particularly for skiffle music
