A quintessentially Canadian image depicting a towering mountain, their resident native sheep and goats and the flowers of the native dogwood and provincial flower, Cornus nuttallii. This image was created as a memento of British American Oil´s Sixth refinery at Port Moody in BC, Canada. They were reproduced in 1958 from 2 large original Canadiana murals in the Administration building, designed by Company Art Director Thor Hansen (1903-1974) and painted by the Vancouver artist Peter Hopkinson.
It is part of the Feckless Collection of BC art.
Condition: Unframed. The image is clean and strong, the paper with some water damage to the back and waviness to the paper.
Size: just under 14.5 x 19.5 inches (37 x 49 cm)
*The paper is a stiffer card and the image will have to ship flat to keep it safe.
