Vintage Tibetan snuff bottle pendant in mixed metal, turquoise & coral

Just over an inch in diameter and 1-1/3 inches long (2-1/2 inches, including the chain), this unusual piece was created to hold snuff — tobacco leaves finely ground and infused with herbs and spices.The brass, copper and silver metals are finely detailed, and the ring of turquoise and coral beads is intact. This piece comes without the spoon that is usually paired with a snuff bottle. No markings as to metal content or maker. (d)
