Vintage Tomato Cookie Jar USA J 114 Large Ceramic Cookie Jar Big Ripe Red Tomato

Marked USA - J114 (possibly McCoy) Measures approximately 5.5 inches deep x 8.5 inches diameter (inside container volume) Exterior with lid measures approx. 9.5 inches wide x 9.5 inches tall (base to top of stem) Mouth opening of jar approx. 6.25 inches in diameter. Glazed Ceramic in a beautiful tomato red/orange color! Appears to have been hand-dipped as glaze is imperfect, just like a real tomato. A couple of barely visible "pits" in the glaze that appear part of the original finish. Bottom has a few minor chips along the perimeter (see photo) that won't be seen when this giant tomato is on display on your countertop! This one will hold a lot of cookies - or, why not set this on the counter to keep garlic, onions, or baby potatoes!
