This is Tomsk, one of the cast of "Wombles" from Elisabeth Beresford's book that was adapted to a British BBC television show in the 1970's. The Wombles are burrowing animals that live under Wimbledon Common and promote recycling. He is made of hard, yet flexible rubber and has a squeaker. Marked Combex Made in England, Womble Film Fair 1974. He stands squarely on his base.
Measurements: 5 1/4" tall x 4" wide x 2 1/2" deep.
Condition: Some wear and tear consistent with age - paint has worn off the tip of his nose. Squeaker intact and working, but you have to squeeze hard.
