chris_toronto I actually have this same bag in a different shape - I agree the strap is quite nice (sturdy gold hardware with interwoven leather) - and it is removeable, so it is actually worth it to be able to use it to attach to other bags to jazz them up or convert them to crossbody (I can't tell from this pic, but the strap on mine is quite long, the bag hangs to my hip bone).
