Vintage Unisex Tracksuit "Get Going With Gulf" Blue with White Stripes & Zippers

The image shows a vintage blue Adidas-type tracksuit with white stripes, identified as being very similar to the Adidas Italy Beckenbauer Tracksuit. This tracksuit is notable for its association with German footballer Franz Beckenbauer, for whom it was named after Adidas partnered with him in 1967. The tracksuit gained popularity among athletes and consumers, even becoming the official training attire for the West German national football team by 1969. The phrase "GET GOING WITH GULF" is printed on the jacket, indicating a sponsorship or collaboration with Gulf Oil. This tracksuit (with stirrup-pants!) is in good used condition with some visible black marks and a small amount of pilling but the elastic in the waist is old enough that it has lost its stretch and is "crunchy". You'd probably have to replace the elastic in order to wear it. Also, a few spots can use a spot clean. 100% Stretch Nylon Measurements are in the photos. There is no size indication but my guess is that this tracksuit is size small. The waist is 16.5", the inseam is 27" and the full length of the pants is 37". Pit to pit on the jacket is 20". These measurements reflect my best effort and are not guaranteed to be exact.
