Vintage Uranium Aladdin Lincoln Drape oil lamp. Rare

Vintage oil lamp produced by the Aladdin Mantle Lamp Co. of Chicago ILL. USA. The glass pattern was known as Lincoln Drape and it is done in Alacite Glass. This Model of Oil lantern is known as Aladdin Oil Lamp Tall Lincoln Drape Model B in Alacite Glass. This particular Model of Aladdin Oil lamp was produced for ten years between 1940 and 1949. Alacite Glass was developed by the Aladdin Mantle Co and was meant to imitate natural Ivory. Early in the production of these Oil Lamps before WWII Uranium oxide was used in the production of the glass. The Uranium oxide was removed due to regulations imposed by the US Government due to the War Effort. The Glass formula was never changed back to the original Formula and this allows for dating of these lamps. Uranium Oxide when placed under a black light will glow a yellow-green colour such as the Aladdin Mantle Oil Lamp in this listing.
