Vintage Valentino Vogue Couturier Design 2743 2-Piece Dress Sewing Pattern

Vintage circa 1972 Valentino designed Vogue two-piece dress sewing pattern # 2743. The semi-fitted top has dropped shoulders with bias bands, bias pointed collar, mock front opening, patch pocket and optional embroidered monogram. Midi, A-line skirt, darted and slightly gathered into waistband, saddle or topstitched trim. Vogue patterns featured several of Valentino's creations in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980. More difficult and expensive than the other patterns, these Vogue patterns offered amazing style to those who were willing to take on the challenge of creating them. Pattern is complete and mostly uncut, but handled by me to verify contents. The outline of piece 7 was partially cut around with pinking sheers but was left and taped back in place.
