vivevogue @oliveolivvvia hello 👋. It is 100% cotton, but it is a light cotton. It is not sheer but you can see through it in certain lights/angles. If you are wanting to wear it as a dress a nude under slip would work or something else creative! I have taken a pic of my hand in the nightdress and will add it to the listing so you can see.
