Vintage -Victorian Inspired- Wedding Dress

Purchased this dress for my September 2024 wedding Worn twice once on the wedding day and then once for photos. It was dry cleaned in between the wedding and the photos and only worn for two hours for the photo shoot. Vintage 1980s wedding dress purchased from eBay for $1000. further alterations completed to add a petty coat under the skirt in order to add some fulness. The following was the summary from the posting.�“ A John Burbidge design for Priscilla of Boston. He achieved status as Priscilla Kidder's favorite designer and was known for his use of certain features, such as bows, bustled backs, puffed sleeves and "star" bodices. The high point in his career with Priscilla of Boston was in 1971 when he designed the wedding dress worn by President Nixon's daughter Tricia at her White House wedding to Edward Cox.”��Material- rayon/nylon taffeta �This bodice is fully lined in a fused cotton batiste and the skirt is lined and tufted for fullness* plus the edition of the added zone in petticoat* Rosettes surround the shoulders and create a modern day bustle for the back. This dress does bustle up even further. Straight cut neckline and faux button back. Closest to a size 4-6. Could easily be altered to fit a size 2 without losing the aspects of design.
