This is a stunning Italian seashell shrine to the Virgin Mary, designed to hang on the wall. The picture of the sacred heart of Mary is reverse printed on a convex bubble glass and embellished by various types of seashells including scallops, around the edges. It is mounted on a plywood backing with a hanger. Marked "Made in Italy for Luceno and Sons" Measurements: 15" tall x 13" wide x 2" deep. Condition: Some extraneous glue, otherwise very good vintage condition with no breakage.
