This is such a captivating, yet serene MCM religious figurine. It is a Mid Century Modern interpretation of the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus. The most interesting and unique feature are the eyelashes! There are two holes on the back where you could thread through a string and hang on the wall instead of sitting on a surface. Ceramic piece finished in muted earthy tones. Has felt on the bottom.
