Vintage W.J. Hughes 13.5” Cornflower Etched Clear Glass Platter Serving Tray

This gorgeous and elegant platform platter crystalware dish features W.J. Hughes’ Cornflower pattern wheel etched by hand with a 12 petal cornflower and a foliage spray of leaves. J.W. Hughes Glass Company began in the early 1910's and business really took off in the 1940's. It is truly stunning in person and a lovely addition for any occasion. This cornflower dish is large and heavy, and features the classic beautiful floral cornflower details reflecting on either side. Wonderful used atop of a lazy susan. It is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, repairs, etc. Measurements: 1” inch height x 13 1/2” inches diameter Vintage glass often has small flaws such as air bubbles/manufacturing flaws and/or signs or use. These do not affect the integrity of the glass but is something to be mindful of when purchasing. All “flaws” are noted.
