Vintage Wayne Clark Never Worn Day Dress

Late 70s office or day dress from Wayne Clark on his entry to pret a porter designing for Aline Merelle manufacturing in Toronto. Unusual piece from a designer who dressed mega stars and entertainers but there are hints in the long front slit and almost fitted profile. Shade print floral design cream on black. I purchased this piece brand new from a Yorkville, Toronto boutique close out sale in 1980 and have never worn it. Note: although dress has never been worn, the elastic at waist did not make it through the decades and has been replace with a new one. Size 12 Bust pit to pit 20” Waist 16” Comes to below knee.
