Vintage Weiss Wreath Brooch

Such a pretty Weiss brooch! Grey rhinestones coating give this brooch a lot of sparkle. All rhinestones are prong-set in a rhodium-plated setting. The piece is in excellent condition. Circa: 1960s Measures: 2 inches round A former employee of costume jewelry powerhouse Coro, Albert Weiss, started the Weiss jewelry company in 1942. Collectors covet Weiss' expertly crafted work with rhinestones and floral and natural figural designs. Michael Weiss, Albert's son, inherited the business after his father's retirement, but the company eventually closed in the 1970s.
