Rare hard to find
The history behind many pieces from the Nova Scotia Windsor Wear Mill is quite interesting
A rare example of a historic piece of clothing. Windsor Wear was produced in Nova Scotia starting in the late 1800's, the factory was a huge part of history. The factory has recently been demolished which was a sad time for anyone associated. This union suit was produced late 1800's/early 1900's, is a heavier Cotton Blend, as time went by, the ownership/management changed hands and they started using wool.
There really are no comparable items out there.
This is a heavy weight, thick 87% Cotton 13% Polyester
.
This pair of long underwear otherwise known as a union suit will last years to come if cared for .
They are a men’s 2XL
87 % Cotton
15 % Polyester
They are in really great shape , a stain on leg and a seam is comming apart on shoulder but could easily be mended
They are heavy and warm and just an amazing piece of history
I have sold one similar in my closet for $250 that was a lot smaller .
