Vintage Wooden Owl Salt and Pepper Shakers MCM

Love these little painted wood salt and pepper pots! The owls have googly eyes that move. They are marked Barkerville which is probably the little old gold rush town in British Columbia, Canada. You unscrew the heads to put spice in, but they don't hold nearly as much as they look like they should, because there is this metal part inside that you can shake. I think it is supposed to keep the salt and pepper from sticking together. They are in near perfect condition and don't look like they have ever been used. About 3 3/4" tall.
