Vintage Wool Tweed Midi Skirt

You couldn't find a more beautiful, or better quality wool tweed in today's market, even in the highest end brand you could possibly think of. This is a vintage 1/2 circle coat weight wool tweed midi skirt. Chocolate/off-white shot with a stunning granny smith apple stripe. The skirt is about 2" longer in the back, which results in a subtle high low hemline that can only be seen from the side view. It had originally been put together completely by hand. I have taken it apart, finished all of the seams off, reinstalled a strong hidden zipper, re hemmed and added a chocolate brown suede waist band. The skirt is already quite heavy, adding a lining only would have added to the weight and is unnecessary. The waistband is nice and soft, the most important part. You will need a slip for the rest if you intend to wear bare legged. Flat waist 15.5" Hips are full Front length 30.5" Back length 32.5 *Note - There is enough room in the sides seams to add a couple more inches if you know a good seamstress.
