@brianacowie hey! no, it would be quite loose, a size 8 is roughly a M, but the waist measures 18.5" on this skirt which is more of an XL. if you love it, you could always bring it to a tailor and have them take it in to fit your measurements! it would be an easy job for them ☺️💕
