Vintage Y2K Laurence Kazar Sequin Jacket

This vintage jacket by Laurence Kazar is reaching its 25th anniversary this year as it celebrates the arrival of Y2K, the highly anticipated year 2000. The jacket has long sleeves, round neckline, and a hook-front closure. The exterior fabric is silk, and the interior is polyester. It is covered in carefully detailed sequins and beads from top to bottom. Pick a spot on the front of the jacket and zoom in and let yourself be impressed at the detail. There are a number of places where beads or sequins have come off and left loose threads, presumably from a wild NYE 1999 (and subsequent NYE parties).
