Work of Yemeni Jewish silversmiths, produced in Israel after the relocation of Yemeni Jewish communities.
Such jewelry was made in Israel while preserving traditional Yemeni techniques of silver filigree and stone setting.
Period:
Circa 1950s–1970s
Metal:
Silver, marked “ISRAEL 935” (Israeli silver standard).
Technique: handmade filigree, granulation, traditional soldering.
Materials:
• Natural coral, red to orange, organic free-form beads
• Turquoise beads (natural or traditionally stabilized, typical for Yemeni jewelry)
• Small disc beads (heishi), bone or shell
• Handcrafted silver spacer elements

Long necklace with a central round silver filigree pendant set with a coral cabochon.
