Vintage Zipper Glass Vanity Jar Purple Jeweled Filigree Ornate Gold Filled Lid

Vintage jeweled gold filled crystal glass vanity jar, trinket dresser jewelry dish. Pressed zipper glass vanity jar with a gold filled lid. The lid is accented with ornate filigree design and multifaceted purple glass stones. The age of the jar is early to mid 20th century. These types of jars were used for facial and bath powders or lotions and creams. Products did not come in plastic containers as they do in this day in age. Jars were ornately decorated to be used over and over. They would sit displayed on a dresser or vanity table in the boudoir. The lid is marked gold filled. No other marks that I can see. It is pre-owned with normal vintage, antique wear consistent with age such as light surface scratches and plating loss on the top of the lid. There are tiny chips around the rim of the glass from the lid being removed and reapplied. Approximate Measurements: 2" across by 1 3/4" high
