Vintage asian chinese jewelry box red fleece lined

Vintage asian chinese jewelry box red fleece lined I believe it is made from teak as it has a little of that soapy fragrant smell but an unsure. It is definitely some natural wood. The front, back and sides are more glossy while the top is matte. Please see pics for condition
