The stone is quite heavy and attractively veined in soft gold and beige tones. It is perfect for (home) office use, or for any official memorial function with a sign-in desk or guest book. It comes with a replacement ballpoint pen. The pen stand itself can be positioned easily and holds most positions pretty well. It can be folded flat to put it away for storage. Condition: The base is in great shape with only minor wear to the edges. The black plastic pen holder with significant wear to the base which looks to have been caused by heat or possibly glue? - and numerous little dents and scuffs overall. I did not find any cracks or breaks, even at the bottom of the pen holder. The bottom of the piece is covered in a classic green felt, to protect your desk or table surface.
