Vintage canopy and hors d’oeuvre cutters that can also be used for cookies. These are over 70 years old, made of tin and the manufacturer is Knobler of Taiwan.
These were my mother’s. I am not aware of them ever having been used, so they are in very good vintage condition. The tin is likewise in good vintage condition but it has been scuffed a bit in storage. These are small cutters with each cutter making a cookie or canopy that is approximately one inch in size (I prefer volume to finesse so these aren’t for me).
The tin is very colourful and has clear graphics on it. The tin makes it very an interesting conversation piece, should you wish to display it in your 1950s or more contemporary home.
This is from a time when lunch with the ladies meant you had to make cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches in small dainty sizes because girdles were so tight that you couldn’t really eat anyway.
