Vintage curling iron

A wonderful hairstyling curling iron from the 1930s. This style of curling iron was heated on the wood stove and it was guess work when it was the right temperature. This particular curling iron makes a very tight pin curl. The reddish / brown wooden handles and metal have a beautiful patina. The metal shows signs of slight rust. No maker's mark. This would make a wonderful display item for any hairdresser. It measures 9" long.
