Vintage designer black & white houndstooth blazer

Incredible 80s houndstooth jacket by Japanese designer Jun Ashida, who was designer to the Empress of Japan! The classic fabric is funked up by the chunky off-centre black zipper up the front. 2 hidden buttons under the lapel give this an excellent fit. One zippered front pocket. Button at cuffs. Care tags are in Japanese, which I sadly can’t read, but the exterior fabric is wool. Black lining in excellent condition. Exterior is also in great shape but there is some friction wear under the arms & the fabric is a bit stretched at one part of back seam - see last 3 photos. Vintage size 9 fits like a modern small. Note measurements laying flat (& zipped up): 18” across chest 16.5” across waist 22.5” long at front 21” long at back 22.5” sleeves
