Vintage fur coat

Purchased at a vintage store about a year ago. It’s real fur, but I’m not sure what kind. Has some holes in it which are shown in the photos. They are not obvious when wearing the coat. They could be repaired, I just never brought it anywhere to have this done. I would like to be clear that this is VERY vintage. The hide is a bit stiff and it sheds (which is normal).
