Gorgeous and heavy unsigned Art Glass Vase attributed to Jiří ŠUHÁJEK for CRYSTALEX Nový Bor. Czechoslovakia 1970 The author of the design is the glass artist, painter and teacher Jiří ŠUHÁJEK (1943) the vase was manufactured by the CRYSTALEX Nový Bor glassworks. It is a stunning piece measuring 6.25" tall and 4.5" wide, weighing 1.45kg. The thick crystal has a pale blue base and yellow with pink inclusion that resembles a flower This piece has very minor signs of wear, with 3 areas on the body with very light scratches (pictured) as well as scratching on the bottom consistent with wear on a piece this heavy.
