Vintage mid century crocodile purse

Mid century leather purse. I cannot confirm if it’s real alligator or not so please look carefully at pictures. Based on the other vintage purses that come up when searching the stamp “LBF made in England” it was common for them to use exotic leathers. However this purse does have a slightly more plastic feel than that of leather, but it is possible this has to do with the treatment/finish of the hide 🤷🏻‍♀️. Gorgeous mid century bag regardless. Brass is tarnished otherwise excellent shape.
