Vintage mohair plush toy dog

Unknown maker, no tags. About 12” long. Cocker spaniel by the looks of it. Appears quite aged but in great vintage condition with no damage. Fur seems to be mohair, ears look and feel like real hide (Angora?). Reminds me of some Steiff dogs but most likely not a Steiff - Could be another German plush maker though, like Farnell, Hermann, etc.
