Vintage mother of pearl disc choker and clip earrings

Although this set is unmarked, during the 60s companies such as Coro and Lisner produced much jewelry using small mother of pearl discs - perhaps actually made of what was called "thermoset" - that look like buttons. In this set, the discs are grouped in threes to make little bouquets. The chain and settings are crafted of strong but pretty metal in a light gold tone. The hook on the necklace can be linked securely at different lengths up to about 15-1/2 inches. The clips on the earrings, which are just over an inch long, work very well.
