Vintage pair of Carved Mexican Onyx Stone Bookends

Vintage 1970s pair of carved Mexican Onyx Stone Bookends. Featuring a couple of guys in sombreros taking a break under saguaro cacti. What's not to love about this scene? Your books will love being supported by these. These are from the 1970s and are in good vintage condition. The figures and the cacti are screwed onto the base. Since the screws are almost 50 years old, they are subject to a bit of wear. The cactus on one of the bookends is lose but still holds. Someone tried to fix it with glue, so there may be a bit of residue. I'm going to sell as is but for less.
