Vintage plaid skirt

this is a beautiful vintage skirt straight for my mother's closet from the 80s. it has beautiful buttons and is labeled as a size 16, however I would say it fits more like a size 12. it is quite a heavy and thick material. please see the tag for the material info. I am 54 and it hits about 4/5 inches below my knees.
