Vintage powder compact and hanky blue Forget Me Nots pink trim old brass 1940s

Vintage brass powder compact has blue flowers on both sides, hinges work, tarnished, outer latch functions, inside the lid is a glass mirror, the powder compartment latch doesn't seem to work, compartment is mostly empty, original pouf is there, remnents of powder I won't clean out because it maintains the sweet flowery smell of history. The complimentary hanky was with the compact and has blue Forget Me Nots and pink butterflies, a bit of tattered edges Probably from the 1940s or maybe 1930s Part of a vintage cosmetics vanity display.
