...Beer Stein with glass bottom, Kilgour, Anderson, Mac Nicol
A very glossy metal tankard, likely a heavy silver plate, monogrammed AWC (CWA) to the front. The symbol above the monogram is the crest of Scottish families Kilgour, Anderson and Mac Nicol. I have also found it referred to as "The Kilgour or Killgowr Family Crest". Their Latin motto is "Gradatim" (By degrees). Great as a clan-related gift, or perfect for those role-playing dwarves in their next AD&D campaign.
The bottom is clear glass and the fully removable lid a similar heavy plated metal. A great drinking mug for beer drinkers, you could bring it to the pub to avoid your drink being tampered with or enjoy it at home.
Condition: with some roughness to the top rim besides the handle, some discoloration to the metal, seen underneath the glass. The lid with a dent to the rim and some metal discoloration on an inner rim. The metal on the outside with polishing marks (fine scratches)
Size: 5 3/4 inches tall with the lid, 4 1/2 inches tall without the lid.
Holds ca 16 oz (2 cups, 400 ml) of liquid
