Vintage skein dyed wool boucle yarn Dyed colour: (tricolour) black + black + taupe (almost khaki or grey-brown) Acrylic 20% wool 80% 3 ply 26” x 276 x 2 = 14352”, 1196’, 398.66 yards Note: I don’t know anything about yarn. I measured the skein (inches), counted the yarns on one side, multiplied by two (sides), divided by 12 (inches), divided by 3 = estimated total yards. I don’t knit but I think the wool is beautiful! I can’t imagine how much work went into it. It looks artisan to me but there is a manufacturer’s tag on most. New vintage C. 1970s. With manufacturer’s tag on. Made in Korea. It’s been in a bag in storage but it’s quite dusty.
