A rare find from the 1990's, made by a Toronto designer with a reputation for the production of outstanding casual and business apparel. Mr. Peruzza sold internationally for years. I do not think this label still exists.
Beautiful colours woven in cut diamond or chevron pattern (see close up pictures).
You can accent any of the bright colours to make a statement or you can wear it with a neutral colour for a business attire. Your choice, your style!
The plaid fabric is a mix of 55 wool:45 polyester.
Woven into different colours yarns including: fuschia, blue, yellow, green, red, black, brown etc.
Hue will vary with lighting. Pictures taken outside are closer to the realy thing.
The skirt is a straight cut with a couple of mini gatherings at waist (you can see that on some pictures) the waist is not expandable and the skirt closes with a zipper and a button at the back, pockets at the side seams.
Fully lined in black polyester.
This skirt was purchased as a set with a blazer which sold.
Label says size 14 but waist was professionally altered to make it bigger.
It is tailored (the live mannequin in the picture is a smaller size and the skirt is too big for her so she is holding it). Likewise with the standing mannequin: it is much smaller size, so the skirt had to be pinned.
Measurements in inches when flat and approximate:
Waist:16.5
Lenght: 30 inches (so it is a midi skirt).
EUC.
