Vintage turned wooden box, heavy weight checkers storage case, gaming piece

...storage box A heavy weight turned wooden box (possibly lignum vitae), the top reminds me on a checkers piece. It would be perfect for storing gaming pieces, or a few smaller objects. It is handmade. The top holds in place by friction and can be difficult to remove depending on the temperature and humidity levels. This could possibly be fixed by slightly sanding down the inner edge of the box, but I currently left it as-is. Size: ca 4-1/4 inches tall, 4 inches diameter (11 cm tall, 10.3 cm diameter)
